In recent years, only one type of these cars has been produced on the Iranian market – the Mercedes-Benz 1924 in the dump truck or “bare” chassis for a superstructure. By the way, in Iran these cars are called by their own name, Benz Meiller. They are equipped with a 280-horsepower Daimler-Benz OM335LA turbodiesel and a 6-speed ZF manual gearbox.
The decision to discontinue production of the model was dictated by tightening certification requirements on the Iranian market.
