Iran Khodro Diesel announced that in two months it will completely stop production of the legendary Mercedes-Benz Kurzhauber trucks.
“Short-hood” Mercedes-Benz trucks were mass-produced in Germany in 1958-1982, but at the same time their assembly was established in several developing countries, including South Africa, Brazil, Argentina, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia and Iran. Khodro Diesel has been making these cars since 1979, and since 1995 it has remained the only Kurzhauber manufacturer in the world.
